SPACEs exists for three reasons:

To bridge the gap between what leaders and organizations plan and imagine, and what they actually achieve.

To unleash the capacity of leaders and organizations to create communities of HOPE (Healing, Opportunity and Possibility for Everyone).

To bring together people who do not look alike, do not think alike, do not talk alike and have not lived alike with the purpose of:

» getting them to see bits and pieces of themselves in others (or those they may perceive to be "the other")

» undoing the practice of "othering"

» doing things together that will leave a dent in the world

SPACEs uses an interdisciplinary approach to achieve this three-part purpose. We combine a range of strategies to bring about individual and organizational transformation. The strategies are:

  • Coaching
  • Education and Training
  • Experience Design and Facilitation
  • Organizational Planning
  • Organizing (both internal and external campaigns)
  • Racial Equity and Implicit Bias (bias reduction and interruption)
